The 1st public Men's Shed meeting was held on the 19th July 2009 at Berowra Uniting Church
The Men's Shed became incorporated 20th July 2009
The 2nd public meeting was held on the 10th November, 2009 at St John's Church Asquith.
The Shed was established and ran in the president's, David Gillan's garage

AGM 15 June 2010, 7 Full Members, 19 associate members.
Gained DA approval for a new Shed 30th October, 2019

We Did It!
2020 - Grant obtained to build a new Shed at Wellum Bulla (Opposite the intersection of Beaumont Road and Pacific Highway, Mount Kuring-gai.
Shed construction commenced by RANBUILD 30th January, 2020
March 2020 Site closed due to COVID 19 Pandemic.
Shed Open under Covid Safe Rules September, 2020
Shed Open for normal activities 18th November 2020
25th May 2021 - Official Shed opening by Matt Kean, Minister for Energy & the Environment, and State Member Hornsby

The Shed is Open for Business

The Hon. Matt Kean M.P., Minister for Energy and Environment, Member for Hornsby, cuts the ribbon on the new Mt Kuring-gai Men's Shed on the official opening day. Located at Wellum Bulla, 836X Pacific Highway Mount Kuring-gai 2080.
The name Wellum Bulla was adopted by Hornsby council in 2021 for the council's material's handling facility and as part of their indigenous dual naming policy. The Shed's land lease was transferred from Hornsby council and forms part of this dual named land parcel. Wellum Bulla is said to mean or refer to 'Coming Back'
